Meet our incredible Community Services Team

Thank you for supporting our team

Karuna operates from a rich values base of compassion, kindness and humanity. A vital part of our service is found in our Buddhist roots and the spiritual care that is embedded into our work.

Tsultrim, Michelle, Dr Wendy and Caroline are some of the members of our Community Support team, who work together to provide our patients and their families with personalised care, whenever they need it most.

We hope you enjoy learning more about them and the vital roles they play as part of the Karuna team.

Special thanks to all of our supporters

Thanks to all of our supporters. The support you show makes a very real difference to our ability to continue to care for our patients and their families in their place of choice. As we are only partially government funded, philanthropy and community support is essential.

"It's about providing reassurance. We give people the opportunity to verbalise their worries and concerns about death and dying. This helps them come to terms with their diagnosis and the inevitable outcome."
